Have you always wandered only if you knew how to acquire high quality backlinks, your life would be different? Well, you are not too far off from reality! This is now possible than ever with SEO link building services offered by many businesses.
Some of them claim to be expert and some truly are!
How to find the good guys out of stash would be a fair question, wouldn’t you agree?
In this article you will learn about SEO link building services that actually work and you will continue to benefit in 2021.
First up, a handful of link building services to avoid to protect your website
For the past 2 years, I have had struggled and nothing else but to find terrible SEO service providers. Hence, I decided to do my own research and started leaning SEO on my own.
After testing a bunch of link building services, I was ready to give up.
They just simply don’t work.
Here’s the list of terrible link building services to avoid:
#1 Fiverr and Upwork
Who has not tried Fiverr or Upwork or even both?
These two service providers offer everything but quality.
Over the past 2 years I have spend fair bit of money and cancelled many orders. Every time I tried someone different, I would hope for a better result. However, after the order is delivered, I often found myself questioning. Why did I do this again?
The articles are spun so many times that the words don’t even make sense. Almost everyone uses software to do quick job and build articles.
Far away from quality!
The similar results with building backlinks, Shocking!
You can buy 100 comments for backlinks. The comments are generic, spun over and over again, repeated, non-related websites and so on.
You get the picture right!
#2 Private blogging networks
Private blogging networks also known as PBN.
PBN’s look alike and don’t hold any domain authority. Hence, when I tried them it did not make any difference in my traffic and authority.
The deals they offer are irresectable. Therefore, it’s hard to ignore them when you are starting out.
Here are few of the examples;
Google’s algorithms are so sophisticated that it will hunt you down and de-index PBN backlinks.
Avoid at any cost!
#3 Paid guest posts articles
Paid guest post article doesn’t hold any value. Simply, because they are made using scripts and programs. Therefore, hardly anyone visit them and they are waste of time, efforts and resources.
Think about it, why would a legit site ask you for money for guest posting on their website?
If you can produce quality guest post article that it’s worth publishing and engaging, any website should be happy to accept your work for free.
Wouldn’t you agree?
Google also penalises the websites that go against Google’s Webmaster Guidelines.
This leads to out next point…
#4 Single click backlinks
- Profile backlinks
- Generic comments
- Link submission to directories
If you can convince yourself buying quality links for $5 and 100’s of them, then you need to rethink the purpose you have started your website in first place.
Any company offering such service is most likely offering spammy links.
Spammy links can only do harm than good in the short and long term.
It affects your website’s authority to the point that it may not even be visible at all or in the 100th page where no one will click on it.
It’s not easy to resist those offers on the link building services mentioned earlier.
However, the only person who can get you out of falling for this trap is yourself.
Here’s what you should do and follow these link building services:
#1 Content Marketing agency
An agency that has a proven track record in producing quality content.
They will be upfront and won’t hesitate to share with you great results they have achieve with their clients.
A few things to ask the agency before signing up for a deal:
- Live examples of their work
- How many years of experience they have?
- Expected delivery time frame
The agencies can charge you in one of the two ways:
#1 Charge by the piece of content
Some agencies may charge by the piece of work they do for you. i.e. writing an article of 5000 words. Depending on the size of the content you could be looking to pay between $500-$2500 per piece.
#2 Charge you a monthly fee
They will write up articles based on the plan you select i.e. 5 articles of 300 words for $500 per month.
Don’t limit your self to the figures indicated above as they are examples only.
You must have heard that saying “You get what you pay for”.
That applies right here with these agencies because they pride themselves for producing quality content over quantity.
Some key points to watch out for:
#1 You may also need to perform your on-page SEO if you are publishing the articles on your website.
#2 Though producing quality content attracts a lot of traffic and backlinks but bear in mind the agency may only produce the content. The cost of promotion will be an extra expense for yourself in most cases.
Watch out for agencies claiming to provide great content, however end up publishing the less than average posts on their private PBN’s.
#2 HARO – Help a reporter out for direct link building facility
This a new website that I personally have become aware of recently.
HARO is a great source for Journalists.
All you need to do to get a quality backlink is “become a source” for the reporters.
I knew you would ask, how it works?
Step 1) Sign up to be a source
Step 2) Answer the queries for Journalists
(you’ll receive 3 emails per day requesting answers for queries. They may include a statistic, a case study or strategy for Journalist to finish of their story)
Your role is to reply to their query with something that has facts and makes sense straight away.
This will increase the chances of yourself getting featured in their article.
Is there a cost to sign up with HARO website?
The plans vary from FREE to $149 per month. You can check the inclusions on HARO itself.
It’s a great opportunity to get links from new authority websites.
#3 Blogger outreach for hassle free link building services
Seriously, who hasn’t heard of blogger outreach before?
You can take it as an individual or agency that will promote or publish your content to another website in similar niche.
What they will do for you?
They will do the heavy lifting:
- Search for blogs to reach out to
- Look up their contact details
- Send them emails and do follow ups
Agencies may already have a list of blogs that they normally reach out to for their clients. They may allow you to pick and choose the ones they recommend and then start working on it.
Though the costs vary between agencies, however you can expect to pay top dollars for single quality backlink. Some may charge between $50 per link to all way up to $500.
#1 Watch out for shady agencies #2 Don’t spam other blogs with emails
#4 SEO agency for complete link building services
You must be thinking we have already talked about agencies before, then what the hack is SEO agency?
The idea of SEO agency is to scale up your SEO.
What they do?
They will create an SEO action plan as following:
- Week 1 (Optimize on-page SEO)
- H1, H2, H3 tags
- Page titles
- Image al tags
- Meta description
- Week 2 (Work on Technical SEO)
- XML sitemaps
- Site architecture
- URL structure
- Structured data
- Week 3 (off-page SEO Map)
- Guest Posting
- Social Media
and so on…
The charges for SEO agencies like all other mentioned above vary between $2k per month to 10K and even more.
Do the background check and ask questions before signing up for any contract.
